Why do we hold on to friendship/relationship?

The fear of being alone drive people to all kind of friendship . Unfortunately those friends are just there to take the best of this person [ they are like vampire ; sucking your blood ] and after they do not need you any more ; they drop you in the bucket . I NEVER EVER permitted to anyone to use me . I prefer to be alone than having blood suckers
