Is it weird that I don't really like this character?

My roommate got me addicted to Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. I intend to go to Sakura Con dressed as one of the characters. I've found a bunch of characters in the series that I like. Lelouch is my favorite. Not just because he's the hero, but because he's not exactly heroic like most protagonists are. Also, I see a lot of myself in him. I also like Rivalz, Milly, Shirley, Euphemia, Kallen, Ohgi, Villetta, perhaps Schneizel, and maybe even C.C., but the character that I just don't like all that much is Suzaku Kururugi. Is it weird that I don't like him? I know I probably should like him, because he's actually more reasonable than Lelouch, and he's a lot nicer than Yuri Lowenthal's character of Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto. But I just don't like how gullible and naive he was, and how he was always getting in the way of Lelouch's plans. I really appreciate that he was trying to be a good person and trying to change Britannia by playing by the rules, but that just didn't outweigh the aforementioned stuff. Is it weird that I don't really care for him all that much? Of course, I still have yet to watch the rest of the series, so, my opinion may change. Who knows? The reason I haven't watched the second season yet is because I'm afraid that if I start, I may not want to watch anymore. From what my roommate told me, the ending of the series is pretty sad. But for now, what's your opinion of this?
